Data on both agile and plan-driven projects are welcome. To Whom It May Concern, My name is Donald Buresh, and I am a Ph.D. student at Northcentral University located in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The reason that I am writing to you is because I would like you to participate in an internet survey for my dissertation. The topic of my dissertation is assessing agile project management and customer satisfaction. The web site where you can find my survey is: www.assessingagilepm.com. The questionnaire will ask you about a software development project that was recently completed within your organization. It will take you about 15 minutes to answer the questions. The questionnaire will ask you a series of questions about the project, including whether the software product was developed using agile-driven or plan-driven methods. If you do not know the answer, the questionnaire will ask you a series of three questions, and based on your responses, it is smart enough to decide what software methodology was employed. The questionnaire will then ask you other questions about the software development project. If at any time you decide not to participate in the survey, you need only exit the survey window, and your data will not be collected. When you have completed the survey, please press the appropriate button to submit your responses, and then close the survey window. All of your responses will be anonymous and all of your data will be held in the strictest confidence. From your responses, it will not be possible to identify you or your organization. Since the data obtained from this questionnaire will be used in my doctoral dissertation, the results may possibly appear in an academic or trade publication. None of your responses will ever be revealed. Thank you for considering to participate in this survey. If you do participate in the survey, and want to obtain a copy of my dissertation, please do not hesitate to respond to this email, and let me know. When the degree has been granted, and the dissertation has been accepted and published, I will be more than happy to send you an electronic copy. Again, thank you for your time. Donald L. If someone wants to work for less than they are >worth, I see nothing criminal in it. Stupid, maybe, but not criminal. It might be part of a scam to get foreign workers to the US to work at low pay. They can't just go to the INS/ICE and ask for a bunch of visas for people from, for example, India. They have to "prove" that there are not enough people in the US with those skills so they have to bring in foreign workers. So they advertize the positions for low pay, nobody here is willing to take them, and they go to the INS saying "See? We tried to fill these positions but we can't. Could you please let us bring in some people from India with those skills? Maybe. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 03 May 2008 18:41:28 -0700 From: "Tom Linden" Subject: MX duplicate name Message-ID: I have been struggling with a seemingly trivial problem, changing my IP die to a flake ISP. In this case, EVE refused to open the file until the attribute was adjusted.
EDT opened it but of course truncated the long record on the way in.

So at least one attribute mattered to at least on application.

I'm still unable to generate 255, 255 from a simple edit, modify, save....

Does the following give any clues where to look? look at TCPIP$BIND_COMMON:TCPIP$BIND_RUN.LOG it should give you some hints on what zones were loaded by the BIND SERVER > Enter domain : > %TCPIP-W-NORECORD, information not found > -TCPIP-E-BIND_NOSERVERS, default servers are not available This is different. It means that this particular host doesn't have a bind RESOLVER defined. (aka: client doesn't know which server to use). Easiest is to do the @TCPIP$CONFIG and setup the major parameters for the host, it insluce the list of DNS servers to use. Or, you can try with the TCPIP> interface. SET NAME defines the resolver parameters (except for /INIT which deals with the server) TCPIP> SET NAME/SYSTEM /DOMAIN=chocolate.ca/SERVER=chain (you may need a /ENABLE to it too). Once you know this works, you issue the SET CONF NAME command with the same parameters to make it permanent. You want something like this: (TCPIP> SHOW NAME ) BIND Resolver Parameters Local domain: chocolate.ca System State: Started, Enabled Transport: UDP Domain: chocolate.ca Retry: 2 Timeout: 5 Servers: chain Path: No values defined Process State: Enabled Transport: Domain: Retry: Timeout: Servers: Path: TCPIP> And you need to SET HOST CHAIN /ADDRESS= (since the bind resolver must be able to locally resolve the name of the DNS server. For some reason, the TCPIP utility doesn't like you entering real IP addresses in the servers list. > > Enter to continue: > > Executing: > $MCR TCPIP$NSLOOKUP > > server localhost > > ls -d KEDNOS.COM. > > exit > > Default Server: localhost > Address: 127.0.0.1 > >> Default Server: localhost > Address: 127.0.0.1 > >> [localhost] > *** Can't list domain KEDNOS.COM: Unspecified error >> > > > In the config file have following entry > > zone "KEDNOS.COM" IN { > type master; > file "KEDNOS_COM.db"; > allow-update { > 127.0.0.1; > 208.85.204.75; > }; > allow-transfer { any; }; > }; > > and the references file is (I did bump the serial) > > ODIN> type KEDNOS_COM.db > $ORIGIN . > $TTL 10 ; 10 seconds > KEDNOS.COM IN SOA KEDNOS.COM.
