This software is packaged as a self-extracting PCSI kit and kits are available
for Alpha and IA64 systems.  No VAX version is available because this software
now requires the support of 64-bit integers, which the VAX DECC compiler does
not provide.

If you are not running VMS V7.1-2 or later on your Alpha you must have
installed the patch kit listed below in order to install this kit.  This patch
kit updates your PCSI software to at least the same functionality available
with the version that ships with VMS V7.1-2 which is needed by this kit.
