VAX SIG Spring 1985 Tapes Initial Documentation

	This is the index directory to the VAX SIG tapes. This
file holds comments specific to the Spring 1985 tapes.
	The top level description summary to the Spring '85
VAX SIG tapes is contained in VAX85ABTP.DOC in this directory.
Also in this directory are the files AAAREADME.85A and
AAAREADME.85B, the concatenated AAAREADME.TXT files from
the respective trees.
	The tapes are in VMS Backup format and are designed to
be readable without file structure errors on VMS V3 or V4
systems, which implies some file renaming has been done. Original
names have been preserved with the omission of underscores, some
vowels, and truncation of long types (this happened once, where
an .INCLUDE file was changed to an .INC file).
	The [VAX85B.PRAXIS...] part of the tree is quite deep,
so that it will not all copy onto a part of a deeper tree on
a VMS V3.X system. Be sure to copy the tape into the root directory
or take other measures to ensure no files are lost due to the
depth of the directory tree.
	Be sure and look throught the tapes for all backup sets
present.
