WAKEUP - WAKE UP A HIBERNATING PROCESS -- JWB -- 1981-Oct-01 This routine is normally used by the operator, but can be used by anyone with sufficient privilege (GROUP or WORLD). It is used to wake a process which is hibernating. Typical use is to wake the OPS data extraction or product generation work managers (EXTWRKMGR and PRODWKMGR), who are sleepy fellows. To use WAKEUP, first do a SHOW SYSTEM to obtain the process name and process ID (8 hex digits) for the process(es) to be awakened. Then enter RUN build:[BLDARCH.RUN]WAKEUP It will prompt for process name and process ID. Either or both can be entered. .
