Commands can be abbreviated by the portion in upper case. (2 letters, usually)
Most command can be aborted by inputting a <CR> on a required response.
Many commands allow two-word command lines ---->  eg. START LPA0  
	to get help on a command ----> cmd ?      eg. FREEZE ?
	to get SYSTEM help directly -> HELP xxx   eg. HELP SHOW QUEUE
Help may also be obtained at most levels by typing a "?".


  ABort		Abort batch jobs, delete any queue entry
  ACcounting	perform weekly copy of accounting data to magtape
  BAckup	perform weekly backup
  DEAllocate    deallocate ANY device (like a tape drive!)
  DEvices	show information on various system devices
  DIsplay	Show system parameters
  ENable	enable terminal as operator's console; gives request statuses
  FReeze	sets the number of interactive users
  Help		Type this text; allows unlimited access to system HELP
  Logout / Quit	Leave the system
  MAil		enter VMS MAIL utility
  MEssage	changes the system welcome message
  MORIA {filename} play MORIA on a VT100!  
  NAil		Stop other processes
  OSTART	start up ORACLE
  OSTOP		shut down ORACLE
  PHone		enter VMS PHONE utility (answer your phone)
  REply		Reply to requests to operators
  REStore	restore files from backup tapes
  SEnd		Send messages to other users AND/OR terminals
  SHowq		Show batch and line printer requests
  SHUTDOWN	Shut down the system
  STArtq	Start the line printer queue
  STOpq		Stop the line printer queue
  TIme		shows and sets system time
