We use DAILYBKP.COM for nightly backing up any changes made since the previous 2 weeks on any of our disks. We have an RA81 and two RM03's. At just before midnight, DAILYBKP starts up and incrementally backs up the RM03's to save sets on the RA81, and the RA81 to an RM03 save set. If any failure occures, the last valid save set is retained and the new one deleted. This procedure is clearly site dependent, and will have to be edited to reflect one's local configuration and how one wants to schedule (reschedule) system batch jobs), however, it should be useful as a template to show what can be done. Gives a great sense of security. If a minor disaster occurs between system backups (or incremental RA81 backups) I generally can recover the work in progress as of the previous day.
