I tested your assumption by using scaled coordinates. My 'scale'
command makes the unit square 4in by 1in. It still didnt work.

I have tried about 20 different combinations of
	newpath
	translate
	moveto
	including and excluding grestore before showpage
	putting the translation coordinates into the matrix itself
	units in terms of 'points' and in terms of 'scaled coordinates'

I can only seem to get the 1st or 2nd strip onto the page, not both.
Which one gets printed varies from case to case. Either the 1st one
gets overwritten, or the 2nd one doesnt appear at all.

Im beginning to suspect that only 1 invokation of the image procedure
is allowed per printed page. PLEASE prove me wrong on this.
