As I remember, the installation procedures like to put the DECServer downloads and database into the SYS$SPECIFIC:[DECSERVER]. We created SYS$COMMON:[DECSERVER] and moved all the files from the specific area of the initial install node. You already stated that MOM$LOAD is defined on both nodes so that should be OK. Here is how SHOW LOGICAL MOM$LOAD shows on our system: "MOM$LOAD" = "SYS$SYSROOT:[DECSERVER]" (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE) = "SYS$COMMON:[MOM$SYSTEM]" Another thing to check is that you are using a common DECnet database. On both nodes do "NCP> SHOW NODE name CHARACT" where name is the name (DECnet node name) of one of your DECServers. This information should be in NETNODE_REMOTE.DAT (common portion of DECnet node database) in SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]. If only one node shows the information, make sure this file is where it belongs. If neither node shows the information, then do an @SYS$SYSROOT:[DECSERVER]DSVCONFIG RESTORE to restore the information from the DECServer database into the network database (we do this after every boot in a batch job). That's all the ideas I have for now... = Frank J.
