The memory crashing problem has apparently been fixed. I made the changes last Friday before leaving for IETF, and have been monitoring it's operation on several machines. Memory for the internal buffers gets allocated at IPACP startup, and is doled out to the individual connections and connection creation time. The initial memory usage is a bit greater, but has not increased during operation. At one time I had 50 connections open on a MicroVax II, with a window default to 8192. The changes have been forwarded to Marc, and barring any other problems, should be in version 6.6-5. -HWM ---------- Henry W.
