Kenney James, The new version of PHOTO will be sent to you in 3 parts. The basic change is the addition of facilities for recording keystrokes, but there are many other updates, so sending difference files is not appropriate. The reasons that I choose to modify your version of PHOTO, rather than implement that in BOSS or LOGGER are: - PHOTO uses the (newer) FTDRIVER - We didn't really need the multi-process functions of BOSS - PHOTO was written in a clear and easily extendable way, at least for me - PHOTO is very efficient. At one time I considered to also implement a playback facility, but I have decided against (mis-)using PHOTO for that. I think a better approach will be to port the Unix tool 'expect', but that will have to wait until I have more spare time. I have identified this version as V1.0-003a. I will leave it to you to assign a new version number. Please let me know if there are areas where you see room for improvement - functional, coding style or whatever. One last word: I have added a section to the help file describing the known problems with DEC's FTDRIVER and related software. I'm not quite sure whether or not I am allowed to publish this information. Please let me know what you think.
