Exactly when do you need patch VERIFY$01_055? The CSC patch is #1001. The fixes to the VERIFY utility correct bugs that may cause file corruption if you have lost headers, and fixes a problem with incorrect handling of file headers for files with a FID that is a multiple of 64K; the patch also addresses some issues in F11BXQP.EXE. This patch is available via DSNlink. If you don't have DSNlink, tell your boss how helpful it would have been in this case, and then contact your local DEC field office to obtain this patch. This patch only applies to VMS V5.5. -Dan Wing, DWING@UH01.Colorado.EDU, WING_D@UCOLMCC.BITNET Systems Programmer, University Hospital, Denver
