AnalyRIM is a spreadsheet integrated with a relational database system. The image presented runs on Alpha using the initial Alpha VMS at FT4 level. You can pick two display modes. The default mode runs on any ANSI terminal (i.e., whatever SMG$ understands) and knows about function keys, provided that the *.cmd files and pcchelp.hlp are in a directory assigned to DK: and readable by your account. The extended mode isturned on by the VC (view color) command (and turned off by the VB (view black&white) command). It supports full color displays on ANSI terminals that support ANSI color controls and on DECterms supports the mouse. It requires at least VT200 terminal support. The left mouse button moves the spreadsheet cursor to the cell pointed to on the display. The center button enters the cellname of the cell pointed to, and the right button enters colon followed by the current cellname. These functions are hard coded at the moment. The author would be glad to hear of suggestions for alternatives. Complete sources to AnalyRIM are included. The code is nearly identical to the Vax/VMS version. See the common AnalyRIM, AnalytiCalc, and RIM5 manuals for full information. Glenn C. Everhart Oct. 20, 1992
