Someone on campus today told me they might have a need for GETVMS.  In the
process of checking to make sure that the program would work for them, I
discovered that GETVMS does *NOT* handle STREAM files properly.  It
occasionally loses some bytes at the beginning of records.  I haven't yet
pinned down what the problem is, but I thought I ought to let you know.

By the way, I've forgotten how to get a copy of the updated version you've
created.  Could you remind me of how to do that?  Thanks.
