   The video connection on the VAXstation 3100, and on the monitors
   such as the VR299, *is* RGB.  With the synch on the green BNC.

   If you're trying to add a SVGA (monitor or video controller) into
   the configuration, forget it.

   The VAXstation 3100 maintenance guide is/was ek-285aa-mg, and
   the maintenance guide addendum is/was ek-344aa-ad.
