Near the power connector??? I'm looking at an RZ24 that has just one jumper near the SCSI connector (near the "power connector end of the SCSI connector", to be more precise). The SCSI address jumpers on this version are near a square chip labelled "Conner 61006-001". This is towards the front of the drive (the end opposite the SCSI connector). They are labelled E3 through E1. E3 is the MSB and E1 is the LSB, and "jumper in" turns the bit on. Hence SCSI ID 3 is jumpers E1 and E2 in. --- Jamie Hanrahan, Kernel Mode Systems, San Diego CA drivers, internals, networks, applications, and training for VMS and Windows NT uucp 'g' protocol guru and release coordinator, VMSnet (DECUS uucp) W.G., and Chair, Programming and Internals Working Group, U.S. DECUS VMS Systems SIG Internet: jeh@cmkrnl.com (JH645) Uucp: uunet!cmkrnl!jeh CIS: 74140,2055
