Subj:	Reading tops-10 and tops-20 tapes

There have been various messages about reading tops-10 and tops-20 backup tapes
under VMS, including a few suggested programs. I have all of these programs
available on our file server if anyone wants copies. These include:

  DUMPER	A utility to read TOPS-20 DUMPER format
		written in C

  DUMPER32	A utility to read TOPS-10 BACKUP and TOPS-20 DUMPER format
		written in BLISS

  10-BACKUP	A utility to read TOPS-10 BACKUP format, written in
		BASIC and FORTRAN.

All are available in source form, with executables for the latter two, by
sending the following mail message to VMSSERV @ OAK.CC.KCL.AC.UK :

  SEND name.PACKAGE

(name is one of the above - DUMPER, DUMPER32 or 10-BACKUP)

and they will be returned to you in VMS_SHARE format. You can request all of
them in the same message - just put each request on a line by itself.
