	SET RMS/EXTEND=n may work well, IF you do not create a bunch of files,
	that end up getting truncated.  Causing 'holes'.

What's a "hole"?  Is your concern that the disk will be fragmented because
larger, contiguous extents will be allocated to cover the extend size, and
they will then be split by the truncation?
