Turns out that the MAKE.COM procedure _did_not_ compile the JASMON.MAR file. Why??? (More later) Thus, the newly linked FTS version used the JASMON.OBJ file that was sent along with the code. I presume this object was built on a V5.5 system. This is partly my fault! I didn't want to delete any of the objects since I didn't have the VAXC compiler on the system I was using to test the code. But... every machine does have MACRO (unless of course, for some stupid reason it has been deleted... UR SOL) So why ship those objects? Anyway... I should have looked closer at the MAKE.COM. Dang thing was driving me crazy... I couldn't seem to figure out where the %x0C00 value came from since the calculation of the SSV_Pages value from SGN$C_SYSVECPGS * 512 should have been %x0A00 (for v5.4). I still think it's a good idea to PROBER the table before copying it. NOW... maybe some more "interesting" crash dumps... :-) BJS- /Brian Schenkenberger/Schenkenberg@Eisner.DECUS.Org/Space for Rent/ /VMS Software Support/Vitronics, Inc./Eatontown, NJ/(908) 542-0600/ /Independent Consult./Tmesis Consulting/Jackson, NJ/(908) 363-7551/ /@Monmouth-ETDL1.Army.Mil/CIS: 70253,114/
