I just went through hell on a similar set of symptoms, though I don't remember being told that no route could be found. In my case, the messages just sat in the queue "IN PROGRESS", because the MX_SMTP process had always died unceremoniously as soon as it was started. (To verify that this is part of your problem, type $ MCP STATUS. You should see both MX_SMTP and MX_SMTP_SERVER if all is well.) The root cause was my stupidity. In the INTERNET.CONFIG template, notice that in the line: $! Define/System/Exec/NoLog INTERNET_HOST_NAME "host.your.domain" you not only have to edit the right of the line, you also have to remove the "!" at the left of the line. (Similarly, the CMUTEK_ROOT and CMUTEK_SRC logicals must be uncommented, though this I had found, earlier.) Henry Miller, please take note: a comment line instruction on removing the "!" in these lines may save others similar grief. - Jonathan
