During the manufacturing process, three of the four files on the DECnet/OSI installation kit were incorrectly named. The fourth file, the VT installation kit, is correctly named. There is a work-around for this problem. If you have sufficient disk space, you can copy the kit files to a disk on your system and rename them as follows: DEC-VAXVMS-DECNET_OSI-V0600--12.PCSI;1 should be renamed DEC-VAXVMS-DECNET_OSI-V0600--1.PCSI;1 DEC-VAXVMS-FTAM-V0302--14.PCSI;1 should be renamed DEC-VAXVMS-FTAM-V0302--1.PCSI;1 DEC-VAXVMS-OSAK-V0300--13.PCSI;1 should be renamed DEC-VAXVMS-OSAK-V0300--1.PCSI;1 If you copy the entire kit to disk, you will need 84,300 free blocks. This is in addition to what is required to install the kits on your system disk. If you have insufficient disk space to copy the entire kit to the disk, you can copy and install DECnet/OSI as follows: 1. DECnet/OSI base software kit - 69,777 blocks required 2. OSI Application OSAK - 4,866 blocks required 3. OSI Application FTAM - 7,938 blocks required and/or OSI Application VT - 1,680 blocks required After each product is installed, you can delete the installation kit to free up the necessary disk space for installation of the next kit. If this work-around is not acceptable within the constraints of your system environment, Digital has put a process in place that will allow you to receive a corrected replacement CDROM disk.
