Pinout for DECserver 700-16 is as follows Pin Function Default 1 RXD GND 2 RXD 3 TXD GND 4 CTS CTS RI 5 RTS RTS DSRS 6 TXD 7 DTR 8 DSR DSR DCD Pins 4,5 and 8 are software configurable between CTS/RTS/DSR and RI/DSRS/DCD. For RS-232, pins 1 and 3 should be connected to each other.
