To ensure that x-terminal font services are handled by the dec x-terminal font daemon (ala VT1200's, etc), you need to have two things in place: 1) in systartup (or sylogicals:) $ define/system DECW$INSTALL_XTERMINAL TRUE (you already likely have this in place) 2) in sylogicals: $ DEFINE DECW$INSTALL_TCPIP "TRUE" Now that I think of it-- this does insure that standard x-window stuff works over tcpip-- I am *not* sure if this includes the font stuff. give it a whirl-- let me know. -- -------------- Kent C.
