I am sure it will propagate to others soon. It supports VMS "out-of-the-box" for AXP & VAX, VMS v5.5-x & v6.1, and XUI & MOTIF. There is MMS (or MMK!) support as well as command procedures. It is currently available as a "tar.gz/tar.Z" kit from ftp.cis.upenn.edu:/pub/xv. I am sure the major VMS FTP sites will get it soon and make a pre-compiled kit available for those without a C compiler. (NOTE: I left a comment char in the Make_XV.com I sent John that makes the build skip a routine. If you get the kit with this comment in the list of files to compile, switch it. I hope this is clear. John has a new Make_XV.com file, but I don't know when/if he will slip it into the kit.) If you have any VMS specific problems please contact me first. They would be completely my fault. As always, please read the README.VMS file in the [.VMS] directory before you dive in. :) When you get it and decide you want to use it, please honor the license agreement with John.
