Sorry, but you don't know what you are talking about. The AMIGA is still very well supported even if there is a litle user base compared to the Micros*ft world. The shareware domain is huge (have a look to aminet http://src.doc.ic.ac.uk/public/aminet/info/www/recent.html, where at least you have 5-10 new softwares or updates every day... On the commercial side, still a lot of companies are working for the Amiga and you can find very good products (ie FinalWriter as a WP) with which you don't need like on the PCs (>20 Mb of RAM, 30-50 MB of Hard Disk, and a Pentium to be able to use a wordprocessor !). And as the market is smaller, you can always contact to development team to ask for a new feature that you want in the next release (try to do that with Micros*ft...). In addition, what you are saying about MAC emulation on the Amiga is wrong. I use the MAC emulator ShapeShifter and I have a very good speed. I can therefore use NetScape, Excel, ...) without any problems and this is multitasking with the AmigaOS AND if I want with X-Windows X11R6. AMax is a 6 years old product (it seems that you are not too much up to date...) So, next time, try to inform you a little better and you will discover that still a lot of very talented people are developing for this wonderful computer.
