Just 20 minutes ago, we stamped a CD with the latest version of LOTUS. We are using the DEC solution (without their CD) for about 4k. Digital recommends using an Infoserver with a 1.2 gig drive. Since DEC's CD writters are "back-ordered" we had to find a CD that would work. The info that I gathered, indicated that the Yamaha CD (about 3k) would work with the Infoserver Kernel Version 3.2. DEC said that Version 3.2 works with the Yamaha even though it is not documented. They said that Version 3.3 (due out soon) will have Documentation for the Yamaha. I took the chance and ordered the CD. Today, we are making CD for under 8k. The Yamaha drive is supposed to be able to write most if not all the CD formats out there. We have only been able to test the VMS format. Brian VandeMerwe brivan@spire.com sr. vms programmer Lotus 1-2-3/OpenVMS/VAX/AXP
