OK, here's the low down on the switch settings for an Exabyte 8200

    Power-On Resett (65 sec)		Power-On Reset (8 sec)
2   SCSI Parity Checking disabled	SCSI Parity Checking enabled
3   Odd or Even Byte disconnect		Even byte disconnect
4   Report Busy Status			Non Busy Enabled
5   Fixed Block Mode on Power Up	Variable Block Mode on Power up
6   Normal Data Operation		No Disconnect During Data Transfer
7   Reserved				Reserved
8   P6 Cartridge Type (106 metres)	PI Cartridge Type (112 metres)
