My EXABYTE 8200, connected to a VAXstation3100, running VMS6.1, has the
settings dddddddd, but it doesn't work anymore since the upgrade to 6.1
last December (maybe just by chance): Parity error.

My EXABYTE _Manual_ tells nothing about these switches, but a vendor's notice
about connecting to a ULTRIX box says:

3: on          Parity check: even byte disconnect
4: on          nobusy, enable on

That's the information I can give. 


Has anybody the complete description of the switches? I'm also interested
in this topic.
