The I&DS refers to the OpenVMS Internals and Data Structures book. This is a book outside of the 'normal' doc set. The VMS I&DS was originally authored by Larry Kenah and the effort assumed by Ruth Goldenberg. This book is a *must* have dissertation of the internals and workings of VMS. You can find and order the current I&DS by following a link on the OpenVMS home page. -- VAXman- OpenVMS APE certification number: AAA-0001 VAXman@TMESIS.COM
