This subdirectory contains the following: ./sim10.tar.Z My attempt at a pdp-10 emulator. My version is being built upon the simulation controller package developed by Bob Supnik, of Digital Equipment Corporation, for his set of machine emulators. I am designing mine with an eye toward being able to build any of the 36-bit family of machines. Currently I'm targetting the KA10, with some PDP6 conditionals and KI10 conditionals thrown in where I understand the differences. On a 150mhz Alpha running Digital Unix, I'm getting approximately 166k emulated instructions per second (eips). I'm going to get back to working on this at some point... it is just that full-time work and night college courses kinda take up a little time... Plus, I'm still trying to obtain information about the KA10 and even more so, the PDP-6 (166 processor). If you have any such info, it would help me to be able to borrow it or get a copy... Please, if you take a copy, let me know... if you find bugs, let me know... if you have suggestions, let me know... [End of README, last updated February 08, 2000]
