Dear Mr. Barron:

RE: Personal Web space use
http://www3.telus.net/holdfast/

Please be advised that a complaint letter has been sent to us concerning your use of personal web space at http://www3.telus.net/holdfast/. The Religious Technology Center ("RTC"), represented by Mr. Timothy Sinnot of the law firm Bereskin & Parr, has alleged that the content that you have posted at http://www3.telus.net/holdfast/Trialday4.htm contains a substantial part of the RTC's unpublished work, NOTS Series 34. The RTC's allegations are mainly founded in copyright infringement but they also allude to the publication of a work that has been sealed pursuant to a court order obtained by RTC in the State of California.

The purpose of this letter is to advise you of the complaint that has been made against you. TELUS, as an Internet service provider, does not monitor content that may be placed on web sites of our customers. TELUS does however expect that our Internet access subscribers use their web space responsibly and abide by the telus.net Personal Webspace Terms and Conditions located at http://www2.mybc.com/webspace/terms/ and governing law.

Accordingly, we request that you please review the content complained of, and should the allegations of copyright infringement be valid, take steps to immediately remove any such copyrighted material from your personal web space. Please reply within seven days of the date of this letter.

Yours truly,

XXXXXXXXXXXX
