    This weeks (Jan 8) edition of CommunicationsWeek has a short article on
    Alta Vista, describing it in fairly glowing terms...
    
    Unfortunately the last line says "Digital can be reached at 
    http://www.altavista.com."  Oops.
    
    I imagine altavista.com gets lots of traffic from people looking for 
    altavista.digital.com. What a windfall.
