DFU and LD

DFU is a do-everything disk and file maintenance utility for VMS. Its

LD stands for Logical Disk. It is a virtual disk program for VMS with
a number of capabilities. At its most basic level it is similar to VD
(virtual disk on contiguous files) but it also supports noncontiguous
files, error generation, and a number of other functions suitable for
testing as well as day to day use. Full sources are supplied. This
version of LD works for Alpha as well as Vax.
