The 21264 will be produced at speeds ranging from 500 to 666 MHz. The external L2 cache runs at half speed. (250 to 333 MHz) The 666 MHz version will do SPECint95 44 and SPECfp 66. Volume quantitys will be available in December. I would not expect any system deliveries until at least March 1998. Digital Plans to introduce an 800MHz 21264A in 1998. No SPEC numbers are available on the 800MHz version yet. The 800 MHz 21264A will be made in 0.25-micron CMOS (EV-7) The current 21264 design is made in 0.35-micron CMOS (EV-6) Check out this link.
