OpenBSD is a free UNIX-like operating system made available by a development group that is very concerned about SECURITY and CRYPTOGRAPHY (OpenBSD is a product of Canada, and is exported with lots of cryptography software as part of the system). We believe that we ship the most secure operating system, and many of us continually search for new security problems to fix. The CDROM's are available now, and orders have started shipping. The CDROM package is $30USD, and the sale of CD's funds the project. If we did not sell CD's, OpenBSD would cease to operate. For more information on buying, see http://www.OpenBSD.org/orders.html. Simultaneously, we are making the 2.2 FTP release. Those files are right now being copied off the CDROM and will percolate to the mirror sites. For slower mirrors, please provide 2-3 days before they get fully syncronized up. I should note is that each OpenBSD CD package ships with 2 OpenBSD stickers. These stickers only ship with the CDs, you can't get them if you do an FTP install ;-) For a detailed (and quite boring) list of what changed between 2.1 and 2.2 please start reading at http://www.OpenBSD.org/plus.html#2.1release. It is not possible for me to list what changed between 2.1 and 2.2. ------- End of Forwarded Message
