Undocumented VMS features

There are some features of OpenVMS that never were documented by Digital,
but nevertheless it is usefull to know about them. I will try to cover them
here as far as I do know about them. If you do have additions please drop
me a note.

The fact that these features are undocumented also implies that they are
unsupported, i.e. in case they stop working some day you may curse for
yourself but you may not complain ;-).

Not exactly undocumented, but OTOH wrong documented is
mount/media_format=cd-rom, which you need to mount an ISO 9660 formatted CD
on a VMS computer. This should read mount/media_format=cdrom instead.
