Actually, The GTK library version 1.0.1 is ported (with a few limitations: Alpha only, no sharable library and File Selector unable to change directory). The library is available at http://www2.cenaath.cena.dgac.fr/ftp/decwindows/lib/gtkx-1_0_1.zip The port of Gimp is working but without the plug-ins. However, Gimp without plug-ins is quite useless, it only kown its own file format. Plug-ins are launched via a fork exec mechanism, but under VMS I have some problems to implement correcty that. The automatic registry of plug-ins during the startup of Gimp is working (with a few problems), but actually I cannot make use of a plug-in to read or write a file (into GIF or TGA, the two plug-ins I try to port). The Gimp kit is available at url: http://www2.cenaath.cena.dgac.fr/ftp/vmsincoming/gimp-100-vms-beta.zip Patrick VMS un jour, VMS toujours !! -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
